Crafty Corner
Since the 11th is Cheer up the Lonley day, we have an idea for how you can do this! You can make this cute butterfly card, and write a bible verse and a short note on it. This should cheer up anyone!
Needed:
- Colored Card stock
- A popsicle stick
- glitter glue (optional)
- markers
- regular glue
- Construction paper
- A pencil or pen
- Googly eyes (optional)
Step 1: Cut 2 butterflies out of the Cardstock.
Step 2: Glue one of them to the popsicle stick with the popsicle stick in the middle of the butterfly.
Step 3: GLue the other butterfly on the other side, only glueing down the middle.
Step 4: Cut two thin, short pieces of construction paper and glue them to the butterfly’s head.
Step 5: Using the pen or pencil curl than slightly,
Step 6: Glue the google eyes on (or draw eyes and a mouth with a marker)
Step 7: Fold one of the butterflies slightly.
Step 8: Decorate the outside of the folded butterfly with glitter glue as you like.
Step 9: Wait for it to dry and then write what you’d like in it!
