Tasty Turn- Chocolate Covered Almonds

Tasty Turn

Make these easy, fun, chocolate covered almonds!

Time to make: 10 min

Time to harden: 1/2 an hour or so

Needed:

  • 1 cup of almonds

  • 1 bar of unsweetened bakers chocolate

  • Sugar

  • 1 medium-sized bowl

  • Access to a microwave and a refrigerator

  • Something to stir with

  • A little bit of butter

  • A cookie sheet

  • Wax paper

First, break the bar of chocolate into small pieces and put it into the bowl. Add a little bit of butter (don’t stress too much about getting this perfect, just make sure you don’t have too much). Next, you need to put some sugar in. This is really just to taste, whatever you like. YOu can always add more later so don’t put too much in right now.

Microwave it all until the chocolate is melted and then  stir it all together. It might be good to start microwaving it at about two minutes and then add more time if you need.

Once it is all melted and stirred dump the almonds in. Mix it all around until all the almonds are at least mostly covered with chocolate.

Cover the cookie sheet with wax paper and Spread the almonds over it and put it into your refrigerator. While you are waiting clean up the bowl and other things so that no one else has to do it, Galatians 5:13-14 says,

13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Once the Chocolate has hardened onto the almonds all you need to do it break it up and  it is ready for eating. I hope you enjoy!!
