This month, we have a HUGE contest that I know you will want to participate in. You could win a brand new book called The Secret Order. Read more about this book by reading this month’s edition of Book Look where we wrote a review on it. All you have to do to get entered in the contest is send us a comment on our website saying that you would like the book, and what your favorite page in Th!nk Magazine is. Then, on February 29th, we will randomly choose one person to win the book. We will soon send you an email if you won , and ask for your address so we can mail the book to you. I’m excited to see who will win!

This month is National Grapefruit Month! Let’s see what other fun (and maybe odd) holidays are happening this month.

The fourth of February is Thank a Mailman Day… you could make them cookies, or just a card… or just say, ‘thank you’. The mailman (or women) do a lot to give us our mail six days a week no matter the weather.

The 7th is Send a Card to a Friend Day. Whether it is a new friend, an old friend, a family member, or especially someone you haven’t talked to in a long time: send them a card!

February tenth is Umbrella Day, there are so many different kinds of umbrellas: ones with fun patterns, ones for beaches, ones for rain, and ones for the sun. Pick one for this day and have fun!

On the eleventh it is Make a Friend Day… The best way to make a friend is to be a friend!

February 12th is President Abraham’s Birthday, but the seventeenth is Presidents Day.

The 14th is Ferris Wheel Day… did you know the first one ever built was for the world fair in 1893. A great book about it The Great Wheel by Robert Lawson.

February 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day, even if everyone else isn’t you should always be kind… it is one of the fruits of the spirit.

The 22nd is Be Humble Day, we should always have humility, Look up Philippians 2:3

February twenty-fourth is National Tortilla Chip day.
