Answers…
There is no need to tell you what’s right and what’s wrong. Obviously the answers should all be never but we are not perfect so that’s probably not what you want to put as every answer. Some people are better in some areas than others but if you put all the answers as never, please know that no one is perfect and that your heart may not always be in the right place. I would definitely consider spending some time in prayer. Then, when God has helped you improve you can take the quiz again.
If you did B. or C. for any answers, I am very proud of you. I can understand that you are still working on it(I am too) and I appreciate your honesty. Just keep working on becoming better and ask God to help you.
If you did A. for any answers please spend more time praying and creating a stronger relationship with God. It isn’t always easy to do, but it is very important. Try to make Spending time with God your top priority, it will matter in the bigger picture while other things might not.
True Answers…
1. Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; -James 1:9 ESV
This means that we should think before we speak and get angry. Before you do anything, you should think ‘what would Jesus say or do in this situation?’. You also just have to know that this isn’t your world so things won’t always go your way or how you want it to go. Remember, this is God’s world and he created everything so shouldn’t everything go his way? Yes it does, even he knows what’s going to happen tomorrow, in a week, in a month and even in a year.
2. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. – Proverbs 3:5 ESV
This means that we should put our entire trust in God. We don’t need to be afraid or worried because the most powerful one of all is on your side and is always perfect. I know it’s not easy to put your trust in someone who you can’t even see but it’s worth putting your trust into the most powerful one of all. In this verse, what it means by lean on your own understanding is that you have to agree with God’s ways and reasons and not yours foe in another place in Psalms there is a good point it says that how can we, mere humans, know or understand? WE can’t. Nut God can and does and will help us if we let him.
3. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. -1 John 4:7-8 ESV
This means that if you do not truly love, you aren’t truly a Christian and don’t know God. I think of love when I think of putting others first. I don’t know about you, but I think that love is an important part in any relationship whether it’s with your friends, family or your peers. If you don’t have love then you can’t create a relationship because then you would be arguing and fighting all the time. When you put others first, you are also not thinking about yourself, you’re thinking of others and their needs.
4. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. -Romans 8:28 ESV
This means that there is no need to be stressed. God does things for a purpose and works things together for good. Recently, my mom was working late and I really wanted to go to youth group that night. I knew that we still had to drive back to our house and make/eat dinner. I was really stressed because I didn’t want to be late to youth group. Somehow it felt like God stopped time. We surprisingly got to church right before youth group started. There was no point in me getting stressed because God took care of the problem and got me there on time. Sometimes we have to think that everything is God’s. Whether it’s our money, toys or event time. I know I am still working on it, but sometimes when I’m stressed, I think to myself ‘ it’s God’s time and God can care for his own things’.
