Last month our contest was to write a story, short story or caption that had to do with Alexandra’s beautiful drawing. Read about the winner and her caption in the ‘About the Contest Winner’ page.

This month’s contest is to find/put together objects to make the word TH!NK. Here is an example:

We used broken crayons to spell TH!NK.

Please try to send us your drawings or pictures to our email address by the 28th of November.

All pictures/drawings will be in the December 2013 edition of Th!nk, plus a special page for the winner.

Crazy Calendar

This month is National Novel Writing Month as well as Peanut Butter Lovers Month. I especially like Peanut butter and Chocolate together! yum!!

  • The second of November is Book Lovers Day! I guess it’s time to look at our previous magazines for some suggestions on good books, as well as this month’s latest Book Look.

  • The third is Sandwich Day what is your favorite king of sandwich? I like egg sandwiches.

  • The 7th is Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day.

  • The 15th is Clean Your Refrigerator Day. I bet you Mom will be pleased, here is a chance to practise letting go of your rights and giving some of your time and energy away. The 15th is also America Recycles Day.

  • The 17th is Homemade Bread day! A good place to go for a recipe is Allrecipes.com

  • Yes, we are still doing the subscriber give-away. Keep asking your friends to subscribe. We are so close to 50 subscribers. I would like to tell you how many more subscribers we need, but I know the other authors wouldn’t be very pleased. If you recently subscribed, a couple of months ago, we decided to give away a $5 Chick-fil-a gift card to the 50th subscriber. Once we get our 50th subscriber, we will randomly draw one of are 50 subscribers and they will also get a $5 gift card to Chick-fil-a gift card. We really appreciate all subscribers who help us by doing this.

  • Last month we asked you for ideas for what our Pet Tricks Page and Interview Page could be called. Our favorite ideas were Training Grounds or Training Space for the Pet Tricks Page and Detailed Dialog or Thorough Thoughts for the Interview Page. Please tell us in your comments,which names you prefer.
