Q: Dear Ainsley,
I have always wondered if God actually hears prayer. Most of the time he doesn’t answer right away. It’s hard to know because you can’t see him.
A: Dear Th!nk Reader,
Yes, he does hear you. He is omnipresent meaning that he is everywhere all the time. You have to have faith, but I can assure you that he is there and will never leave you. Something you could do is keep a prayer journal. Write down your prayer requests and later, see what God has done. It may not happen right away but God gives us things when we need it the most. He does things for a reason. Even if you don’t understand why you have to trust that he has a plan for you and your life (Jeremiah 29:11).

Q: Dear Ainsley,
How do you and the other authors manage to work on the magazine with school, sports and other activities?I hardly ever have any spare time so I wonder how you girls do it and do it well.
A: Dear Th!nk Reader,
I have to manage my time well and fit it into my day. All the authors are homeschooled so that is partly why. We all are less busy now, since sports are over. I am part homeschooled so I can usually get most of my work done and work on the magazine on days that I’m not at my school or have sports. It is really worth working on the magazine. It has helped all 3 of us authors to become closer to God. It definitely isn’t easy to get everything done but it has gotten easier than it was at first. I usually pray and ask God to help me fit it into my schedule. I also have really supportive parents that know how important the magazine is to me and give me time to do it. I am really thankful for that.
